Community Support Worker South West Kent
Remote Working
Salary:  £8.40 - £12.13 (pro-rata if applicable)

Job Advert Details
Community Support Workers required to deliver respite/short breaks service for Carers in their own homes, in the South West Kent area.
Carers FIRST is currently seeking to appoint community based care support workers. Working with family carers in their own homes to care for the person with care needs. This is to enable the carer to have some time for themselves. The visits we provide are generally between 2 and 4 hours, once or twice weekly/fortnightly. Our focus is person centred, to provide a service that meet the needs and the requirements to support the cared for person. This may include support with personal care, keeping someone company and safe in the home or taking the person out.

You will need to be caring, flexible, and reliable and have a range of skills and knowledge with a passion to deliver quality services.

To be considered for these posts candidates will need to hold or to be willing to train to achieve a QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
You will need to be a car driver with an up to date licence.

Requirements for this role will include applicants holding a full current driving licence/access to own car and with the ability to use technology to embrace remote working.
Role is subject to a DBS check.  You will receive on-going training and regular supervision and appraisals.
