Carers FIRST is a growing charity supporting adult and young carers working in the districts of South and North West Kent, Medway, Waltham Forest and Lincolnshire  A carer is anyone who looks after a relative or friend who due to ill health, physical or mental illness, disability, frailty or addiction, cannot manage without their support.

Administration Assistant - Kent
Salary: £17,505 per annum
Hours: 37 Hours per week. Part time and/or job share applications will be welcome

Location: based in Strood

If you want to work for an organisation that makes a real difference to people’s lives, have previous experience of office administration, with excellent IT, communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team, then this is the perfect role for you.

You will be given full training that will enable you to provide administration support that includes updating our database, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, support event bookings and general office administration.

Community Support Worker South West Kent
Remote Working
Salary:  £8.40 - £12.13 (pro-rata if applicable)
Contracted (minimum 16) Hours per Week
 
Carers FIRST is currently seeking to appoint community based care support workers working with family carers in their own homes to care for the person with care needs to enable the carer to have some time for themselves. The visits provided are generally between 2 and 4 hours, once or twice weekly/fortnightly. Our focus is person centred, to provide a service that meet the needs and the requirements to support the cared for person. This may include support with personal care, keeping someone company and safe in the home or taking the person out.
