We are delighted that from 1st March, Carers FIRST will be delivering the Carers Support Services in Haringey, supporting  carers and families by providing emotional and practical support, advice, information and guidance, and opportunities for carers to access  training, social groups, activities, trips and more.

You don't have to wait until you are struggling to talk to someone about your caring role and the help you can get. If you want to talk with someone from the Carers FIRST team
If you are new to caring or have yet to register with us, please call our hub, or you can complete our online referral form and someone will call you back within 3 days.

Professionals wishing to refer can call our carers hub where we can take the referral over the phone, or send you a referral form.

Carers FIRST runs groups for carers which give opportunities to come together to meet and chat with others who may find themselves facing similar issues. The groups are informal and all carers are welcome.
We will run regular drop-ins at the following venues:

  •  Every Tuesday from 10am until 1pm - Tottenham Town Hall, N15 4RY

  •  Every Wednesday from 1.30pm until 4.30pm - Winkfield Centre, N22 5RP


We have several other groups which are running:

What is Mindfulness? It can be easy to rush through life without stopping to notice much.
Paying more attention to the present moment – to your own thoughts and feelings, and to the world around you – can improve your mental wellbeing.


Working for Carers:
4 workshops on Mondays 6th to 27th March from 10am – 2pm.

These session are open to all carers who are thinking about getting back into work, or maybe considering their first steps into employment.

Session 1: Induction and Positivity Workshop
Session 2: CV, Cover letter writing Workshop
Session 3: Interview Techniques and Goal Setting Workshop
Session 4: Job Club

Yoga for carers:
A 5 week Yoga Course starts on 26th February 6:30-7:30 pm
Tri-Prima Cafe 124 Philip Lane N15 4JL

The session is designed to focussed on relieving stress, and don’t worry, it won’t be physically taxing but relaxing.


Financial Resilience Workshop
Friday 23 March 2-5pm

Tottenham Town Hall, Town Hall Approach Road, Tottenham, London, N15 4RY

Find out about how to make your money go further, budgeting, saving and avoiding debt in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

Participants will receive a pack with money-saving tips and details of organisations and services that can support you in managing your money.
