Carers FIRST is a growing charity supporting adult and young carers working in the districts of South and North West Kent, Medway, Lincolnshire, Essex and the London Boroughs of Waltham Forest and Haringey  A carer is anyone who looks after a relative or friend who due to ill health, physical or mental illness, disability, frailty or addiction, cannot manage without their support.

Central Services (HUB) Apprentice

Wage: £3.80 Per Hour

Hours: 37 Hours Mon-Thu 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-4:30pm, but some flexibility is required.

We require an apprentice to work within our Central Hub team, providing support and general admin support to operational teams and answering calls from professionals, taking referrals and adding information onto our Carer’s database.

Carer Support and Assessment Coordinator (HUB) (2 Vacancies)

Salary: £20,415 pro rata, per annum

Hours: 22.5 Hours per week (Strood/Tonbridge - to be worked across 3 days - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and 20 hours per week (Strood Office - Flexible days)

Location: Strood/Tonbridge, Kent

We are excited to offer the above role and the successful candidate will work within our busy Carers Hub team providing telephone support. Being the first point of contact for carers, you will be required to give information, advice, and guidance undertaking a proportionate assessment of carers needs and where appropriate assist with support planning.
