Carers FIRST is a growing charity supporting adult and young carers working in the districts of South and North West Kent, Medway, Lincolnshire, Essex and the London Boroughs of Waltham Forest and Haringey  A carer is anyone who looks after a relative or friend who due to ill health, physical or mental illness, disability, frailty or addiction, cannot manage without their support.

Carer Support and Assessment Coordinator - North Essex

Salary: 20,015 per annum pro rata

Hours: 28 Hours per week

Location: Community Working, North Essex

The requirements of post will include pro-active identification of carers through partnership working, running peer support groups, delivery of carer assessments and providing information, advice, guidance and emotional support to carers.

Community Inclusion Coordinator - Lincolnshire

Salary: £20,199 per annum

Hours: 37 Hours per week

Location: This is an outreach role linked with the Grantham office – travel base options and working arrangements to be discussed at interview

The successful candidate will be able to work under their own initiative, alongside the operational teams to develop and co-ordinate active carer and volunteer led projects that will enhance community engagement, in particular, by those with lived experience of caring for a relative or friend.
