Carers FIRST is a growing charity supporting adult and young carers working in areas across the South East, London, East Midlands and East of England.  A carer is anyone who looks after a relative or friend who due to ill health, physical or mental illness, disability, frailty or addiction, cannot manage without their support.

Brokerage Coordinator (Medway) - Fixed-Term until 31 March 2021

Salary: £21,240 per annum FTE (Pro rata for 22.5 hours)

Hours: 22.5 Hours per Week

Location: Medway

We have a fixed term contract available within established brokerage team. Initially this contract will be up to 31 March 2021.   This position will work remotely as well as within our Central Office at Strood.

Carers Health & Well-being Coordinators x 2 (1 Year Fixed-term Contract)

Salary: £20,823.00 FTE (pro rata for 22 hours per week)

Carers FIRST is leading carer’s charity providing information, advice and support to young people and adults who look after a relative or friend who could not manage without their help. We currently serve carers in seven areas in the South East, London and East of England and are recruiting two part-time Carer Health & Well-being Co-ordinators to work within seven primary care networks in Medway.    You will work alongside the Carer Health & Well-being Team Lead to develop the support for carers within GP surgeries.

Director of Income & Communications

Salary: £49,000 - £55,000

Full Time

Location: Flexible (Essex, Lincolnshire, London or Medway)

Our new Director of Income & Communications will lead, inspire and manage a newly integrated Income and Communications team to achieve the charity’s ambition of diversifying and increasing income, reaching more carers and increasing awareness of Carers First and challenges facing carers.
