Haricare is where you can find services, support, products and
activities in Haringey and other forms of advice and information for adults who
are elderly, have disabilities or long term illness, and their families and
carers. It has information about free or low cost services. It also has
products and services you can buy if you are funding your own care and support
of have a direct payment from Social Services.

Registered carers can apply for an Advantage+ Card which gives free admission to all Haringey Leisure Centres when supporting the person they look after to use the facilities as well as Advantage+ admission rates (around 25 percent off standard prices, subject to availability) when using sport and leisure facilities by themselves.
You will need to show a recent letter from Carers FIRST or Haringey Council confirming you have carer status and the card is renewed every 12 months.

The Alzheimers Society supports people living with a diagnosis of dementia, their carers and family, to navigate through their journey of dementia. The local office in Haringey provides specialist advice, a dementia café in Hornsey, and Singing for the Brain in Alexandra Palace.
