Carer learning and wellbeing event

Join us for a free, supportive day designed for carers accessing help from the Lincolnshire Carers Service. The event offers a mix of learning, practical support, and wellbeing activities to help you in your caring role.
What to expect: Morning workshops focused on skills, information, and support for your caring role. Available workshops include:
10am:
- Resilience within your home, for families with children with additional needs
- What support can the Occupational Therapist offer, and how to access it
- Mental Health First Aid – First aid for those with mental health challenges
11:05am:
- Getting a Good Night’s Sleep – delivered by our Sleep Talker
- Lasting Power of Attorney – understanding what it is and how to access it
- Online scams and fraud awareness
12:05am:
- Understanding Demand Avoidance
- Bob’s Brainwaves – Supporting someone with Dementia
- Menopause and mental health
Free lunch provided for carers. Marketplace of stallholders offering local information, resources, and services useful to carers. Afternoon wellbeing activities to help you relax and recharge.
Additional information: This is a carer-only event. However, if your caring responsibilities would prevent you from attending, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you bringing the person you care for. Free parking is available on site. Carers are welcome to drop in for the whole day or just the parts that suit them.
