8:30am - 5:30pm

Great Central Railway PLC, Great Central Road, Loughborough, LE11 1RW

Take a well-deserved break! Join us for a relaxing and scenic trip aboard the Loughborough Steam Railway - enjoy the charm of the heritage trains, beautiful countryside and chance to connect with fellow Carers in a friendly and carefree environment. Picking up from Holbeach Tesco Bus stop at 8:30am and then Spalding Bus Station at 9:15am. Book early to secure a spot! This is a FREE event. There are two tickets per carer, cared for are welcome but please consider that they would be required to step on and off the trains. There are steps at the railway station and access on and off the trains may not be accessible for wheel chair users. Wheelchair access on the bus is available and there is room for a mobility scooter, however, there are stairs at the station to negotiate and alighting the trains. Please bring your own money as there are cafes and restaurants at the station to purchase refreshments/lunch. Alternatively, bring a pack lunch. Parking is on street only, if you are making own way to the Loughborough Railway Station, this may be limited. First pick up is from Holbeach at 8:30am. We aim to return by 5pm - 5:30pm.
