Meet the Staff Team
Carers FIRST Business Leadership Team
Alison Taylor, Chief Executive Officer
Alison joined Carers First in January 2020; having worked in the charity sector, in local authorities and in health over the last thirty years. Most recently, Alison was Director of Operations at the awarding winning charity, Turn2us, which she joined at its inception. She has served on the boards of several charities and is currently a Trustee for the national charity, Gingerbread.
Working with and for carers has been a constant thread through Alison’s life. She has seen the value and importance of unpaid carers to our health and social care sectors and to our broader society and she passionately believes there needs to be greater recognition and support for carers.
