Carers Week wellbeing event

Our Carers Week event will focus on your wellbeing as a carer, the event is also open to cared for. There are different time slots for the respective relaxation techniques. From 12 pm - 12:45 pm we will have Qigong, which typically involves moving meditation, coordinating slow-flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and a calm meditative state of mind. From 12:45pm - 1:30pm we will enjoy Laughing Yoga, a popular movement and breathing exercise that aims to cultivate joy, bring out your inner child, and help you let go of daily life stressors. From 2pm - 3pm, join us for Creative Breathing Space, express and reset in an hour. Create a personal mini journal filled with prompts and possibilities, providing a pocket-sized reminder that your thoughts and feelings matter too. No artistic experience is needed, just bring yourself and leave with a creative tool for selfcare. Head or shoulder massages will be offered in 15 minute slots. Light refreshments are provided throughout. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment. (Massage open to carers only!)
