Monday Movie Morning for carers - free entry at David Lean Cinema
11am - 1pm
David Lean Cinema, Croydon Clocktower, Katharine Street, Croydon, CR9 1ET
Join us for an exclusive free screening just for carers and parent carers, a chance to unwind, meet others, and enjoy a film in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Arrive from 10:30am for complimentary hot drinks, squash and biscuits served in the foyer, the perfect time to chat with friends, meet other carers, or simply enjoy a quiet moment before the lights dim and the film begins. A small bar will be open if you'd like to treat yourself to chocolates, drinks, or ice cream (available to purchase). The screening begins at 11am and features Wicked: For Good, the highly anticipated sequel to Wicked, continuing the story in the Land of Oz. The David Lean Cinema in Croydon is fully accessible via stairs, ramps, and a lift, with accessible toilets and washing facilities. This is a carer-considerate screening, with subtle lighting and attentive staff to make your visit comfortable.
Free to attend - but seats are limited to just 64, including 2 wheelchair spaces, so book early to avoid disappointment. This is a carers-only event and as seating is unallocated, we are unable to reserve specific seats. We recommend carers arriving from 10:30am to enjoy refreshments before the film begins.
To book your place, contact Croydoncarers@carersfirst.org.uk or call the Carers First Helpline on 0300 303 1555.
