An exclusive free screening just for carers and parent carers, a chance to unwind, meet others, and enjoy a film in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Arrive from 10:30am for complimentary hot drinks, squash and biscuits served in the foyer, the perfect time to chat with friends, meet other carers, or simply enjoy a quiet moment before the lights dim and the film begins.
A small bar will be open if you’d like to treat yourself to chocolates, drinks, or ice cream (available to purchase).
The screening begins at 11:00am and features: The Sheep Detectives, a wonderful blend of comedy, drama and mystery. Hugh Jackman stars as a wonderfully misanthropic shepherd who has little time for people… but he loves his flock.
And yes — incredibly, The Sheep Detectives is a real movie!
This cheeky, feel-good parody of classic detective stories brings together a sensational ensemble cast. Lending their voices to the woolly sleuths are Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, Chris O’Dowd, Patrick Stewart, Regina Hall, Bella Ramsey and Emma Thompson as the formidable lawyer whose tongue is every bit as sharp as her wardrobe.
At the helm is Kyle Balda, bringing plenty of warmth, wit and wonderfully silly chaos to this very unusual whodunnit
The David Lean Cinema in Croydon is fully accessible via stairs, ramps, and a lift, with accessible toilets and washing facilities. This is a carer-considerate screening, with subtle lighting and attentive staff to make your visit comfortable.
Free to attend - but seats are limited to just 64, including 2 wheelchair spaces, so book early to avoid disappointment.
