Do you fancy a walk?
Fresh air and exercise has a range of benefits, including boosting your self esteem, reducing stress and contributing to a healthier lifestyle where you can gain mental clarity. Join us for one of our regular walks around Essex, where you can meet with other carers whilst benefitting from some gentle exercise. Our Thursday walks are between 10:30am - 1pm and our Sunday walks are between 10am - 12pm. Times and locations vary so please book for more information.
The Care2Walk around South Essex will take place on the second Thursday of the month at 10:30am to 1pm. Various locations. Walks are around 5km.
The Care2Walk around Mid Essex will take place on the last Sunday of the month at 11am to 1:30pm. Various locations. Walks are around 5km.
Please note that the Sunday 28 September Care2Walk will be at Railway 200: A Lost Railway Line and a Miniature Railway, Cold Norton at 10:30am, Saltmarsh Coast Walking Festival. We will be meeting at Cold Norton Village Hall, Blossom Lane, CM3 6JQ.
Please note that the Friday 10 October Care2Walk will take place in Dagenham. It will be a short walk around Dagenham Village taking in various historic sites including the Cross Keys public house, bronze sculptures (commemorating local people including Billy Bragg) and Dagenham Church.
