Carers Health and Wellbeing Day

10am - 4pm

Cressing Temple, Witham Road, Braintree, Essex, CM77 8PD

We are holding a Carers Health and wellbeing day this summer, open to all carers in Essex. This event is available to all carers, friends, family, professionals, and its aim is to provide information, advice but also to promote health and wellbeing.

Entry is free:

Marketplace: 10am to 4pm – wander around the Craft Barn and chat to the stall holders promoting health and wellbeing for carers.

Pixels for Pleasure photo booth on site from 10am to 4pm: have yours or family or pets photo taken by a professional for making memories.

JB Ices ice cream van on site from 11am to 1pm.

For those rural carers over 55yrs in mid Essex we can offer:

Exhibition Barn: 10am - 4pm: 6 places for various therapies e.g., Reiki, Romiromi, reflexology, Indian head massage, psychic medium.

Walks: 10:30am - 1pm: 10 places. A sketch and snap walk with Sandie, practising mindfulness and taking in nature.

2:30pm - 4pm: 10 places for a guided walk of Cressing Temple Barns and the Walled Garden by a volunteer.

Conference room presentations (15 spaces available):

10:30am - 11am: Inspiration talk by Team Baloo

11:15am - 11:45am: Presentation on Community Energy Pathways

12pm - 12:30pm: Presentation by Brown's Solicitors

2pm - 2:30pm: Presentation on being confident talking to health professionals

2:45pm - 3:15pm: Musical chair pilates with Marisa

3:30pm - 4pm: Line dancing with Marion and Lora

This event is funded by Essex Carers Community Fund.
