Diabetes UK presentation, first online session for carers

11am - 12:15pm

Diabetes UK is offering an online presentation to carers. The aim of this session is to enhance the knowledge and confidence of unpaid carers in understanding and managing diabetes. By the end of the training, participants will be able to: define what diabetes is, know the differences between type 1 and type 2, and understand how diabetes affects the body Identify risk factors, recognise symptoms and causes, understand diagnosis and treatment, manage complications, utilise support from Diabetes UK.

Please note that there will be two sessions.
