Autism and Learning Disability Carer Networking Event

10am - 2:30pm

Edenham Village Hall, Church Lane, Edenham, Bourne, Lincolnshire, PE10 0LS

We are excited to invite carers of children or adults with autism and/or learning disability to our first networking event in the south of the county. We hope this day will be an enjoyable experience in the picturesque village of Edenham, just outside of Bourne. We foresee this day to be the start of a network where you can meet likeminded carers and share experiences. It will be an opportunity to gain knowledge from our speakers, learn and ask questions. Our morning will be focused on learning with speakers from PAACT, the Maximising Independence Team and Virtual Autism hub, followed by a buffet lunch and socialising. The afternoon will focus on wellbeing, and we have several activities for you to engage in as much or as little as you would like. Some options included are Tai Chi, flower arranging, crafts and treatments from a professional massage therapist.
The day will run as follows: 10am - 12pm - Learning 12pm - 12:30pm - Lunch and socialising 12:30pm - 2:30pm - Wellbeing Activities Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. This event is for Lincolnshire carers only. This event will not be suitable for cared for persons. We look forward to seeing you there.
