Belton House Visit

10am - 4pm

Belton House, Belton, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG32 2LS

Come and join us on for a great day out at Belton House and immerse yourself in the beauty of spring with a tour of both the Italian and Dutch formal gardens. This free event is open to carers registered with us, your cared-for as well as family and friends. There are loads of things to do for all the family to enjoy During the day you can visit Belton House (open 11am - 4pm) to soak in the stunning architecture and impressive art, silver and porcelain collections. The formal Gardens and Parkland around the estate offer many interesting walks which are a great place to relax. With around 1300 acres of the great outdoors to explore there is plenty to see including Ponds, Woodland and the ancient Deer Park. Upon arrival, please inform the ticket office that you are part of the Carers First group, and they will issue you with your ticket. The tour of the formal gardens starts at the Italian Garden entrance in the Stables Courtyard. There are tours at 12pm or 2pm and visitors are welcome to drop into either of these guided walks by simply meeting the guide at the garden entrance – No booking is required.
If you wanted to chat and say hello, I shall be outside of the Information Hub (which is on the edge of the car park) at the start of the day between 10am and 11am. I will then be in the coffee shop/stables courtyard between 11am and 12pm before attending the 12pm garden tour myself. It would be great to chat with you about the day and if you wanted to come and join me for a coffee you would be more than welcome.
As the ticket office will have your names you are welcome to arrive any time after 10am and depart when you like to. During the day you are free to explore the Belton Estate as you wish. There really is loads to see and I would suggest starting your day with a visit to the Information Hub to pick up a park map – The house is open between 11am and 4pm, with the rest of the estate open 10am until 5pm, so you’ve plenty of time to soak in the sights. Whatever you get up to I'm sure you'll have a great day!
