Ropsley Heath Light Railway

10:45am - 2pm

Glebe Farm, Chain Lane, Ropsley Heath, Ropsley, NG33 4AU

Come and join us for a look around Ropsley Heath Light Railway and enjoy a ride or two on the locomotives. The privately owned railway has been lovingly built around five acres of land and includes a 100ft tunnel. The locomotives run at approximately 8mph. Please note that engines can be noisy and you should expect loud noises from the chimney, pressure relief valves and whistle. Picnic tables and a grass area are available for picnics if you would like to bring your lunch with you and teas and coffees are available at £1.50 each on a 'cash only' basis. Other refreshments might also be available on the day, also on a 'cash only' basis. Once your place has been confirmed, a list of safety instructions will be issued to ensure a fun, but safe, time is had by all. This will also include parking instructions. A maximum of three tickets per carer are available and your cared for is welcome to come along.
