Carers Rights Day: Informational carers dropin event

The old Wilkos shop, Ground floor of the Pentagon Shopping Centre (by the lifts), Chatham, ME4 4HY 

We are proud to invite you to our exciting carers event this November where you’ll have the chance to meet a range of council services and get information, guidance and support to help you in your role as a carer. 

We appreciate that caring for others can be challenging. We hope that by connecting you with our services directly you will be able to raise any concerns you may have, get clarity around what support you are eligible for, and help you feel confident as a carer.

The following services will be in attendance, where you can speak with representatives about any issues, queries or concerns you may have: 

  • Adult Social Care including; social work teams, financial assessment, client financial affairs, direct payments, shared lives, occupational therapy, respite services, transition from children to adults, engagement team and many more..  
  • Housing 
  • Benefits  
  • Adaptations  
  • Public Health 

A number of organisations from across Medway will also be attending on the day that you can speak with including Carers First, Food banks, Medway Voluntary Action, Kent Association for the Blind and Healthwatch.
