We have partnered with the Good Things Foundation to offer free internet data for unpaid carers registered with Carers First.
Carers can receive up to 24GB of data, or 20GB of data, free texts and calls, from either Three, O2 or Vodafone.
Do you qualify?
- You must be a carer registered with Carers First.
- You must be over the age of 18 years old.
- You must be living in a low-income household.
We have an initial 300 SIMs to give away.
Carers First staff will complete a short eligibility form for carers applying to receive this and the SIM will be posted directly to you.
What is a SIM?
A SIM is a plastic card used in a mobile phone, with a phone number registered to each unique user. SIMs allow mobile phones to make calls, text and access the internet (through data usage).
What is data?
Mobile data allows the user to access the internet from their handheld device. Allowing you to visit websites and use apps on your phone or tablet, even while you are out and about.
If you receive a free SIM, you will be able to keep your existing phone number.
Please fill out the form below to request support from a staff member in applying for a free SIM card.
