Are you a carer and live or care for someone in Essex?

At Carers First, carers are at the heart of everything we do. That's why our Essex Carers Forum was first created by carers, is ran by carers, and is for carers, working in co-production with Carers First.

Our Essex Carers Forum is made up of carers, former carers, and staff who meet online four times a year, to decide on themes and future projects. Staff with specialist skills or external professionals are often invited to address the forum in regards to popular and common themes that carers raise.

Carers Forums help Carers First to gain a vital and vaiuable insight into what services carers want and need to help you live your life to the fullest.

Don't miss out on having your say

Whether you would like to get involved in the planning of our future services or provide feedback on the services we currently provide, our forum enables you to have your say, be heard, and work in co-production with Carers First for the benefit of services for carers in Essex.

Our forum sessions enable us to open up the conversation on what is working and what isn't in the support we provide for carers, helping us to shape and continually improve the services we provide.

We want the support we provide for carers to be the best that it can be, so the more carers that take part in the forums, the better the understanding we have on what carers feel they need the support with the most.

Get involved Take part

Taking part is easy, and there are a few ways in which you can get involved. You can send us a question, join us online, or write to us in preparation for our next forum at:
