Our latest edition of Putting Carers First, ‘Equality for Carers’, focuses on sharing carers’ voices and advocating for their rights.

We are proud to launch this issue, which is packed with important updates, inspiring content and resources designed to support carers.

Alison Taylor, Chief Executive said: As a charity we help carers get the recognition and support they urgently need, working to make equality a real and shared goal for everyone.”

The issue features three powerful and moving carer stories, helping you to know that you are not alone in your experiences, and that reaching out for support is often the best thing you can do.

It also contains updates from recent months, such as Carers First signing the Young Carers Covenant, affirming our commitment to improve the lives of young carers across the UK. It also celebrates the success of our staff, volunteers and carers in the Lincoln Run For All, earlier in the year!

The theme for Carers Week this year was, ‘Caring About Equality’, and we highlighted the everyday challenges that carers face, including issues like poverty and isolation. It was a time for us to amplify carers’ stories, celebrating their resilience and dedication.

As always, it is important for us to highlight carers’ voices, share resources that are there to guide and inform carers of their rights, and ensure that the correct support is in place for each individual carer.

Carers First is passionate about supporting carers across the UK. Our magazine contains content to accommodate everyone, no matter your caring situation.
