Croydon Mayor Jason Perry spent time with carers this week, listening to their experiences and seeing first-hand how they are supported by Carers First across the borough.
As we approach our first anniversary of delivering the Croydon carers contract, it was a valuable moment to reflect on the past year along with Cllr Yvette Hopley and members of Croydon Council, including commissioner Shirley Moyes.
We were delighted to hear such positive feedback, with carers sharing how much the support means to them and the difference it makes to their wellbeing.
A big thank you to the carers who took the time to share their experiences, and to our volunteer Andrew for supporting the Carer Café session.
