Carers First is continuously exploring innovative methods to raise funds to support our work. We understand that many of our supporters are on the lookout for simple, cost-effective ways to contribute to our cause. We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Easyfundraising, the largest charity shopping fundraising website in the UK.
Easyfundraising is a free platform that enables us to earn donations when our supporters shop online. The platform collaborates with over 7,000 online retailers, including well-known brands such as Tesco, eBay, Sports Direct, M&S, Boots, Just Eat, and Booking.com.
Here is how it works: Once you have signed up, you simply start your shopping journey at the Easyfundraising website or use the browser extension or app. The retailer you shop with will then send us a free donation based on how much you spend. It is as straightforward as that.
We are aware that the cost of living is impacting everyone. This initiative is not about asking you to spend more. Instead, it is about informing you that if you are making an online purchase anyway, you can support us simultaneously and at no additional cost to you.
Signing up is straightforward and takes only 2 minutes. All you need is your email address. You can register today here. Please also share this with your friends and family if they would like to help.
To assist us in getting started, we have been offered an additional incentive for a limited time only. For the entirety of August, Easyfundraising will give us £1 for every new supporter if we can get a minimum of 10 signed up, with no upper limit. We are aiming for 100 new supporters, which would result in a £100 bonus for us.
The funds raised through Easyfundraising could be used to provide vital support services for carers, including advice, information, emotional support, and practical help.
It is completely free and easy to use, making it an excellent way for you to support us when you are shopping online without it costing you a penny. Register today and start supporting Carers First with every online purchase you make.
Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of carers.
