Julia Hargreaves Director of Services
Julia joined Carers First in 2025, bringing over 25 years’ experience in the charity sector. She most recently led services at a mental health and homelessness charity, with a strong focus on supporting vulnerable people in challenging circumstances.
Julia leads and manages Carers First’s community-based services teams, Helpline and Volunteer team. Working in coproduction with carers, she ensures services make a positive difference in the lives of carers
A trained social worker, she’s passionate about the vital role social care plays in people’s lives — especially for carers and those they care for. Her commitment to making a difference is rooted in both her professional background and her own lived experience as a carer.
