Carers' Stories

10:30am - 1pm.

Croydon Carers Centre, 24 George Street, Croydon, CR0 1PB

You are invited to an event that celebrates you as a carer. Join us for Carers' Stories event, a heartfelt gathering where we invite unpaid carers to share their experiences through writing, song, spoken word, memory, or storytelling. Whether it's a journal entry, a poem, a short story, a favourite song that speaks to your journey, or simply a memory you hold dear - this is a space for your voice to be heard. No experience needed, just honesty, courage, and community. This is not a performance, but a celebration of shared experience. You can speak, read, sing, or simply listen. We welcome all contributions as we honour the incredible roles carers play in the lives of others. Come along to connect with others who walk a similar path, to share in a safe, supportive, and welcoming space, and to find strength in storytelling and solidarity. Interested in sharing something?

No need to book just pop by and participate or feel free to listen and enjoy.
