If you're an unpaid carer, aged 18 and over, supporting someone in Waltham Forest, we’re here to help with online help and advice, as well as 1-2-1 practical and emotional support. Remember, you don’t have to wait until crisis point before asking for help - the earlier you ask, the bigger difference it can make.

'We Care for You' is our campaign to ensure hidden carers are seen and supported. We aim to support hidden carers to make time for the little things, developed with carers for carers. It’s important to take time for yourself when caring for someone else, but we understand that’s not always easy. 2.1 million people every year take on an unpaid caring role, with three quarters suffering from stress and anxiety due to missing out on support. “The little things,” such as hobbies and spending time with friends, are often the first to go, but our pocket guide can help you to find more time for you.

Finding other carers who's experiences are similar to your own is a brilliant way to maintain your social life while chatting to others who understand the struggles you may be facing. We hold regular peer support groups online, as well as local activities and catch-ups for you to meet carers in your area.
