Arthritis Action Presentation: Self Management and You, first session
11am - 12pm

Marc Williams from Arthritis Action will be chatting to carers on Zoom about Arthritis. Arthritis Action is a UK charity giving practical help and support to improve the quality of life of people affected by arthritis. Marc Williams is the Services Manager for Arthritis Action, he has a background as a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist. He also hosts the Arthritis Action Podcast and is involved in various projects addressing MSK conditions in the leisure sector. Marc says, "We offer an integrated self-management approach, which looks at both the physical and mental health impact of living with arthritis. During my talk I will be giving an overview of what arthritis is, and how a self-management approach can be beneficial. I will be talking about the importance of diet, exercise, planning and pacing, as well as talking about mental health, and what resources and help we have to offer people living with, or caring for those living with arthritis."
Please note that there will be two sessions. This is the Tuesday, 22 July, from 11am to 12pm session.
